Bearded Collie Tries Greyhound Diet

Lucy the Bearded Collie gave the GPG diet two paws up! All of Gemini's fosters are fed a carefully measured diet of dry food, wet food, water, yogurt, pumpkin, and the occassional chicken foot to make sure they're all getting the vitamines and nutrients their bodies need to stay healthy and happy. So when the 13 year old Lucy refused to eat her dinner her hooman sister, our volunteer Coordinator Sydney, thought she might prefer something a little different! Lucy very much approved of the exciting and nutritious meal, but Sydney quickly realized that the GPG diet is more suited for long snoots rather than fuzzy beards! Needless to say, there was a big mess!!!

GPG Foster Feast (Dinner)-

• 1 scoop of dry food, the boys get ½ scoop extra

• 2 large spoonfuls of wet food mixed with ¼ cup hot water

• 1 spoonful of pumpkin

• 1 spoonful of yogurt

• broccoli if available

• MIX MIX MIX!!!
